Have a trip on our legendary train the "Ghan" and have the journey of your life!
This wonderful train runs between Adelaide and Darwin and return. The trip is over 2979km long one way and is over two days and two nights.

On leaving Adelaide the Ghan travels through the beautiful rolling wheat country in South Australia and later it crosses the border into the lush tropical splendour of the Top End into what is described as the red heart of Australia with its harsh deserts and stark beauty. You travel in the most wonderful relaxing air conditioned comfort on one of the great rail journeys of the world.

Meals are top notch and compare to some of the best City Restuarants. In the sleeping compartments you can experience the luxry of a comfortable bunk with lovely clean crisp linen sheets as the train travels along almost noisless on the latest state of the art line which ensures no clickety- clack of days gone by. And the next morning you can wake up, feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy another wonderful day on the Ghan.

The Train also stops at Katherine where you may indulge yourself on a tour to the Katherine Gorge in the Nitmiluk National Park and at Alice Springs where tours are available if you wish to see the Desert Wildlife Park. There you can see more than 400 species of plants as well as 120 species of desert animals. We feel sure you will enjoy the scenery of the wonderful outback and find the whole trip most fascinating, enjoyable and captivating.

To put the icing on the cake the service and the staff on the Ghan have been described by many as being as incredible and wonderful as the train itself.

For a Red Kangaroo Daynighter seat (Full adult fare $710)

And if you want a Gold Kangaroo Sleeper (adult $1950 which includes all meals.)
