Dr Edwards is a founding Director of Respiratory and Sleep Specialists.
He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1969 with
a MBBS and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College
of Physicians in 1974.
Two years later he became a Fellow of the American College of Chest
Physicians. Bob held a position as a research fellow in the department
of Medicine at the University of Sydney where he began his research
and since has published numerous articles taking an interest in the
Influenza Vaccination, Asthma, Pulmonary Haemorrhage and Idiopathic
Pulmonary Haemosiderosis.
Bob also holds positions on the Thoracic Society of Australia and New
Zealand, the Australian Lung Foundation and the Wesley Lung Cancer Group.
Dr Edwards consults from his private rooms at the Wesley Medical Centre,
Caboolture, Mackay, Lismore and Darwin.
